FAQs
01
What are the best floor mats for a Chevy Silverado?
Match the tray to your cab floor before you look at brands. What actually changes on a Silverado 1500 is the transmission tunnel and whether the rear seat has underseat storage, and a liner cut for one will not sit right in the other. After that, judge edge height at the door sill, driver side retention, and cold weather behavior. MAXPRO lists both overhump and underseat storage sets for the 2021-2026 truck.
02
Will floor mats be discontinued in the 2026 Chevy Silverado?
Partly. Chevrolet dropped the front and rear liners with removable carpet inserts for 2026, RPO codes BKF and BKE. On 2025 trucks those came through the Protection Package on LT and RST, standalone on LTZ and High Country, and inside Midnight Edition on Custom Trail Boss. None of that touches MAXPRO fitment, which is the same across every 2026 Silverado 1500 trim. Choose by cab floor: overhump, underseat storage, or both.
03
The factory mats are already in my truck. Why add liners?
Keep them if the coverage suits how you drive. The case for a full-coverage liner starts when water, mud or job-site grit comes into the cab regularly, because a tray holds that above the carpet and lifts out for rinsing. Compare perimeter edge height, coverage at the door sill and tunnel, cleaning effort, and warranty. MAXPRO builds to that spec. Whatever you choose, never lay one mat on top of another.
04
Do MAXPRO liners cover the third row in a Tahoe or Suburban?
Suburban yes, Tahoe no. MAXPRO covers the Suburban across rows one, two and three in bucket or bench layout, plus separate cargo liners for the fourth and fifth rows and a seat back liner for the sixth. Tahoe is rows one and two only, in bucket or bench. Traverse gets the full range like the Suburban. Read the row name on the listing, because a first and second row set never includes the third.
05
Are MAXPRO Chevrolet liners safe around kids and pets?
TPX is the short answer. MAXPRO liners use it because it is non-toxic, hypoallergenic and odor-free, and it does not absorb water or dirt. It is also 100% recyclable, which will not sell a set on its own but is true. Installation is part of safety too. Fit the liner made for that exact truck, secure the driver side to the factory retention points, and never stack it over another mat.
06
How do I clean Chevrolet floor liners after a job site?
Pull them out first. Shake or vacuum off the loose stuff, rinse with water, wipe or air dry, then put them back. Mild soap if something greasy went down. The TPX MAXPRO uses does not absorb water or dirt, so nothing soaks in while you are working out of the truck. Two minutes, done. Check the driver-side liner is seated on its retention points before you drive off.
07
Who makes the best floor mats for a Chevrolet truck?
No brand wins on every truck, and the honest way to choose is a checklist rather than a logo. Was it scanned for your exact cab. Does the wall rise at the door sill. Does the driver side lock to the factory points. Does the material stay flexible in cold. MAXPRO builds its Chevrolet liners from 3D scans in TPX, and it should be judged on those four like anything else.
