FAQs

01

How can I tell if BMW floor mats are counterfeit?

Genuine BMW accessories come with a part number and arrive through a dealer or an authorized parts channel. A listing that will not show you the part number, or a price far under the dealer, is the usual tell. The cleaner answer is to stop trying to authenticate a copy and buy something openly aftermarket instead. MAXPRO does not imitate a BMW part.

02

Which BMW models does MAXPRO fit?

Three, and all of them are X cars. X1 for 2019 to 2023, X3 including the hybrid for 2018 to 2026, and X5 for 2019 to 2025. No sedans, no X7, no i models. If you drive a 3 Series or a 5 Series, MAXPRO has nothing for you today and an X3 tray will not adapt.

03

Do the BMW X3 and X3 Hybrid use the same liners?

One listing covers both, 2018 through 2026. That is worth saying because it is not automatic. Plenty of hybrids get their own tray, and where MAXPRO splits a listing it means the products are not interchangeable. Here it does not split. Order by year, and let the badge look after itself.

04

Carpet or all-weather in a BMW?

Climate decides this one, not the showroom. Carpet flatters the interior and absorbs whatever lands on it. All-weather contains and rinses. Owners in a wet or salted region tend to run all-weather from November and swap back in spring, which is fine as long as only one set is in the car at a time. MAXPRO liners sit on the containment side of that choice.

05

Does it matter where floor mats are made?

Less than the specification does. BMW owners ask the same thing about the dealer part, and the answer does not change: what you actually want to know is the material, the way the tray was shaped, the wall height at the sill, and the warranty. Those you can check. MAXPRO liners are TPX, molded from model-specific scans.

06

How do I look after all-weather liners in a BMW?

Less than people expect. Lift them out, rinse the salt off, dry, refit. No conditioner, no dressing, and definitely nothing that leaves a slippery film on a surface your foot lands on. Salt is the thing worth staying ahead of over a winter. MAXPRO TPX does not absorb it, so rinsing early is enough.

07

Who makes the best floor mats for a BMW X5?

Two real options and a lot of noise between them. BMW Genuine all-weather mats, bought through the dealer with a part number, or an openly aftermarket custom-fit tray from a maker that will tell you the material and the year range without being asked twice. Compare them on wall height, retention, cleaning and warranty. MAXPRO covers the 2019 to 2025 X5.
