Why does the Atlas listing say Bench Seat?
Because the tray was cut for that layout and MAXPRO labels it rather than leaving you to guess. The Atlas floor sets are named for the bench arrangement, in a first and second row version and one that continues through the third. Two cargo options sit alongside them. Read the label before you add to cart, since it is doing real work.

What do the numbers on a MAXPRO cargo liner option mean?
The numbers are option labels, not passenger rows. A two row car can still show a cargo option numbered four, which catches people out. On the Atlas and the Tiguan there are two cargo options each, covering different parts of the load area. Go by the description and the photos on the listing, and ask MAXPRO if the area covered is still unclear.

How much are floor mats from a Volkswagen dealer?
Prices move and vary by model, so a number written here would be wrong within a month, and a stale number is worse than none. What is stable is the shape of the choice. Which Volkswagens does MAXPRO fit?
MAXPRO lists Atlas for 2019 to 2026, Tiguan for 2019 to 2024, and Jetta for 2022 to 2026. Three cars. Both of the big ones go past the second row. Golf, Taos and ID.4 are not covered, and neither is the Atlas Cross Sport, which owners assume is close enough until the shorter body turns out to change the whole cargo area.

Does the Tiguan have a third row liner?
Only if your Tiguan has a third row, which not all of them do. MAXPRO offers a first and second row set and a set that runs through the third, so the listing covers both cars. Look behind the second row before you choose. The five seat and seven seat versions share a badge and do not share a floor plan.

Do VW floor liners need trimming to fit?
Not the custom-fit kind. A MAXPRO tray is molded from a scan of that specific Volkswagen floor and drops in as it comes, which is the whole point of buying by model and year. Anything sold as universal will need cutting, and a trimmed mat is a mat that moves. If yours does not sit flat, it is the wrong fitment rather than a job for scissors.
